► GUARANTEE OF HEALTH & SAFETY IN THE NEW NORMAL
Back in June 2020, Shangri-La Group announced its Shangri-La Cares commitment which elevates its already rigorous hygiene and safety protocols for all properties worldwide. Read more about Shangri-La Cares.
In September 2020, Shangri-La at the Fort, Manila was awarded the Safeguard Hygiene Excellence Certification after it had successfully passed the field audit conducted by Bureau Veritas (BV), a world leader with a 192-year legacy in providing testing, inspection and certification services.
In October 2020, Shangri-La at the Fort, Manila was granted by the Department of Tourism with the Certificate of Authority to Operate for Staycation (CAOS), paving the way for the hotel to finally re-open its doors to leisure guests.
► PRE-ARRIVAL REMINDERS DURING THE NEW NORMAL
All guests are required to fill-out the hotel’s Travel and Health Declaration Form prior to entry to the hotel. For your convenience, you can already fill this out while in transit to the hotel. Once submitted, you will receive your QR Code Pass via the email address you provided in the form. Upon arrival, present the QR code to the security on duty. Your temperature will then be taken before you will be allowed to enter the hotel. You can also fill-out the form upon arrival at the hotel. The QR code to the online form is posted next to the hotel’s entrance door.
If you are checking-in to the hotel, you are also required to accomplish the Online Pre-Registration Form where you must register yourself and your companions staying with you. The link to the form will be provided in your reservation confirmation email.
For health and safety reasons, Valet Parking service is currently not available.
► THE NEW NORMAL OF HOTEL STAYCATIONS 안전한카지노사이트
Only residents of Metro Manila and CALABARZON (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) are allowed to staycation at the hotel.
Guests of all ages are allowed to go on staycation. Only guests who are pregnant or with comorbidities are not allowed to check-in.
All staycation guests are required to present a negative Rapid Antigen Test result issued on the same day of check-in. For your convenience, you can avail of Shangri-La at the Fort Manila’s Onsite Rapid Antigen Testing (subject to additional fee per person). Appointment prior check-in date is required.
Guests sharing the same room must be from the same household residence. Proof of residency such as government or company ID with residence address must be presented upon check-in. For IDs without residence address, each guest can secure a Barangay Residence Certificate as supporting document.
► THE NEW NORMAL OF HOTEL CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
The floor is marked for guests to observe safe distancing.
Partitions are installed at the check-in desk.
Front desk associates are required to wear a face mask, a face shield, and hand gloves at all times.
Hand sanitizer and sanitized pens are provided next to the check-in desk.
Countertops are thoroughly sanitized after every guest check-in/-out.
Upon check-out, guests must drop their keycards in the used keycards box located at the front desk.
Guests are encouraged to use cashless payment options.
Instead of a printed receipt, you can just request a digital copy to be emailed to you.
► HEALTH & SAFETY MEASURES INSIDE THE ROOMS
Only registered guests are allowed to enter the rooms.
Self-care pack consisting of a face mask, hand sanitizer, anti-bacterial wet wipes is provided in-room for every guest’s convenience.
Bottled drinks and snacks will no longer be available in the minibar. Guests can instead order from in-room service.
Menus, magazines, stationery, ballpens, and calendars shall no longer be provided in the rooms.
Room attendants will only clean the room in the absence of guests to minimize face-to-face contact.
New cleaning and sanitation technology such as ultra-violet light technology and electrostatic spraying devices are to be utilized.
Hospital-grade disinfectant shall be used to clean frequently touched surfaces.
Used linen shall be laundered at high temperature.
► THE NEW NORMAL OF HOTEL DINING
Remember the QR code pass you received when you submitted your Travel and Health Declaration Form? You will have to present that to the restaurant’s receptionist for verification. You temperature will be taken again before you are allowed to proceed inside the restaurant.
Restaurants are only allowed to operate at 50% seating capacity.
Tables are spaced out to observe safe distancing. Guests are also not allowed to seat face-to-face.
There is a Hand Sanitation Area inside the restaurant.
Anti-bacterial wet wipes as well as face mask sleeve or envelope are provided to each guest.
An e-menu is available via the Susie Digital Guide.
Dishes are covered when served to guests. This is to protect the food from airborne contaminants.
Plates and cutlery are only provided when guests are ready to eat.
Guests and staff are required to wear their face masks and face shields when walking around the restaurant.
► THE NEW NORMAL OF IN-ROOM DINING
The following shall be observed when ordering in-room dining at Shangri-La at the Fort, Manila:
a digital in-room dining menu shall be made available via a QR code
the in-room dining trolley shall be delivered up to the room’s door only
the hotel staff shall not be allowed to set-up the in-room dining trolly inside the room
all hot dishes shall be placed inside the food warmer while cold dishes will be covered with a cling wrap or a cloche
cutlery shall be wrapped with table napkin
Once you are done, please store the used dishes inside the food warmer and bring the trolly outside the room. Please note that the staff shall not be allowed to collect the trolly from inside the room.
► HOTEL BREAKFAST IN THE NEW NORMAL
Samba serves as the hotel’s temporary breakfast venue while High Street Cafe remains closed.
Only set breakfast are currently offered at Samba.
Guests who booked a breakfast-inclusive room package can enjoy their breakfast at Samba.
Jade and Diamond tier members of Golden Circle can avail their complimentary breakfast benefit at Samba.
Guests who do not have breakfast included in their room rate may opt to order in-room breakfast.

► MOVING AROUND THE HOTEL IN THE NEW NORMAL
In the new normal, guests are encouraged to stay inside their rooms and avoid mingling with other guests.
Should you need to go outside your room, you shall wear your face mask and face shield at all times
Maximum of three persons are allowed to take the elevator at any one time.
Touchless hand sanitizer dispensers are placed in key areas of the hotel.
If you need to go out of the hotel, you need to present your QR Code Pass again to the security staff on duty before you are allowed re-entry. So make sure you bring your mobile device when stepping out of the hotel to avoid inconvenience.
► USING HOTEL FACILITIES DURING THE NEW NORMAL
Kerry Sports Manila is operating on limited capacity. Guests who wish to use the gym must book their gym time via the hotel’s Susie Digital Guide or by calling the hotel’s guest services. Kerry Spa is still closed umtil further notice.
Kerry Sports Pool is open daily from 6:00AM to 3:30PM however, only two persons can use the pool at any time. All Golden Circle benefits remain the same except for the following:
Complimentary Breakfast Benefit for Jade and Diamond tiers members is currently offered at Samba, the temporary breakfast venue while High Street Cafe is closed. Guests can choose among eight set breakfast choices.
Horizon Club Lounge Benefits for Diamond tier members are currently unavailable as the Horizon Club Lounge hasn’t resumed operations yet.
